Summer Reading Is Coming to an End on July 29th!

– Our theme this year is Animal Tails & Animal Tales! Don’t miss our animal focused programs and story times!

 

– All Summer Reading hours MUST be turned in with entry forms by 8pm Wednesday, July 28th! The Summer Reading program Swim Party Finale will be on Thursday, July 29th at the Princeton Pool from 6:30-8:30pm. NO DROP OFFS will be permitted. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by someone age 18+. Signs of lightning or other severe weather will cause the party to be cancelled. We would like to thank all our patrons for making Summer Reading 2021 a success. Thank you!

Programs at Lafayette Park

FamilyTime Entertainment

– Family Time Entertainment, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, provides fun entertainment for children of all ages. Their goal is to provide quality experiences for the whole family!

– Our first program in Lafayette Park for this year’s summer reading program will be “Those Crazy Animals!” presented by FamilyTime Entertainment on June 8th at 10AM.

– FamilyTime Entertainment will be back again in the park on June 22nd at 10AM to present their show “What Color is Music?”

Meet Squishy and Friends

– Come along with Squishy and Friends to learn all about fun reptiles and amphibians! June 15th at 10AM

Animal Tales presents: Animal Science 

– Animal Tales Mid-South provides our region with professional, live animal programs that are not only entertaining, but highly educational. Their Animal Science show will feature a live bird, mammal, reptile, amphibian, and an invertebrate all from around the world. June 29th at 10AM in Lafayette Park

Chalk the Walk

– Come celebrate your creativity on July 6th at 10 AM for our Chalk the Walk event! Sidewalk chalk has grown rapidly since the global pandemic, and here at the Princeton Public Library we are excited to get in on the chalk art extravaganza! Taking place on our Hart Street and Water corner location 

Veterinarian MaryBeth Feutz

– Dr. Marybeth Feutz of the Princeton Veterinarian Hospital will be speaking about pet care and how we can all be the best providers for all our furry family members. July 13th at 10AM in our new meeting room.

Monte Skelton

– Come to see Monte Skelton, the one man band in our new meeting room at the library July 20th at 10AM! It’s sure to get you dancing. To learn more about Monte, you can click the button below.

Silly Safaris

– Silly Safaris is one of Indiana’s leading providers of live animal conservation education. Throughout the US, Silly Safaris have performed over 3,000 shows providing the perfect blend of fact and fun for all ages. Special guests from the audience join in the action for an unforgettable experience. Join the fun on July 27th at 10AM!
