Summer Reading Program

 

Our Summer Reading Program for youth ages 2 through 18 will be from June 1st to June 26th.

– Reading logs may be picked up at the South Entrance on Water Street across from the Presbyterian Church.

– Participants will read for 8 hours and return their reading logs to the Library by 5pm on June 26th.

– All participants who complete their 8 hours will receive a family pass for the Pool Party on July 17th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All children ages 12 and under MUST BE ACCOMPANIED by an adult (18 years old or older). Weather may cause the party to be cancelled.

Programs at Lafayette Park

Important Notice:

– Due to Covid-19, please bring chairs or blankets to all park activities to spread out on the grass in order to adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Animal Tales- June 16th, 10am-11am

– Come see one of Animal Tales’ newest shows, Fantastic Creatures and Where They Are Found. During this show, you will get to see a variety of fantastic and amazing animals, and learn all kinds of things about them.

Monte Skelton- June 23rd, 10am-11am

– Come to see Monte Skelton, the one man band. Monte can play over 20 instruments, and can make himself sound like a full band, all by himself. It’s sure to get you dancing. To learn more about Monte, you can click the button below.
